Business Philosophy

Have you ever talked to a friend of yours and they told you they had a 4 hour closing and what a nightmare the whole process was? My closings are an hour long; 50 minutes of signing your name, 10 minutes of copy making and bad joke telling and we are out of there. Buying and selling is supposed to be fun. Both parties are starting a new venue in their lives. How exciting is that! If I keep things light and my clients let me take care of everything, it usually works out great. There are always going to be hiccups in any transaction, but what I get paid to do is make it worry free for all involved. Because I sell so many homes, people seem to love how little they have to worry about. There are what I call the 4 P's that people have to think about; price, possession, points, and personal property. The rest is legal mumble jumble most don't care to think about. Now I'm not saying they don't need to see it and go over it, it's important people understand what they are signing but they don't need to memorize it. I love my job and my clients can feel that.

Personal Background

I live with my adorable daughter Mikayla (8 yrs old), we currently reside in Lake Elmo. I am a Henry Sibley graduate and a West St. Paul person. I bought my first home in 1990 in nearby Inver Grove Heights (I couldn't move too far from my mom). When I'm not working (which isn't very often that I'm not), I spend my extra time visiting world leaders, Ted Turner, Bill Gates, and jet-setting between our homes in Switzerland, the Carribean, Malibu, and Martha's Vineyard. I also enjoy fishing, Gopher hockey, my yard and my family.
